We have experience in preparing Wills that carry out our client's testamentary wishes. We know how to assist family members and Executors in having a Will recognized by Probate Court and then administering the Estate.

Guardianships

We know how to assist a client in obtaining a Guardianship of a minor child or incapacitated adult and Conservatorship of a child's or incapacitated adult's property.

We believe that each client is important and is entitled to personal care and attention. We will give your case the time and effort that you deserve, and will represent your interests rigorously. We also believe that most disputes are resolved more quickly and less stressfully through mediation rather than through litigation, and we will seek whenever possible to reach an amicable settlement that protect your interests. However, if the other side does not agree to a fair settlement, we will vigorously represent you at trial.

Attorney J. Patrick Claiborne is a graduate of the University of Georgia Law School. He was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1979. He is admitted to all Georgia State Trial Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court. In addition, he is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Georgia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11^th Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He served in the U.S. Army as a Captain in the Military Intelligence Branch. Attorney Claiborne has been married for 37 years, has four children, and three grandchildren.
